Frequently asked

About the price

Why don't you just publish a number?

Because it genuinely depends on your setup — how many products, repositories, and entities you need covered. Rather than force everyone into a headline number that's wrong for most people, we'd rather ask a few questions on a short call and give you the real one.

Why does it rise for later customers?

Founding customers lock in a rate that stays below what we'll charge once we're past the first 100 companies. Tracking every library accurately isn't a one-time build: it takes ongoing work to keep monitoring sources current, tighten detection, and pick up new components as your product changes.

What happens if the price changes?

You'll be notified before any change, with plenty of notice. Founding customers keep a loyalty rate below the standard price for as long as they stay subscribed.

What if my company grows past a handful of products?

Companies with many products, multiple entities, or an existing compliance team should get in touch, and we'll scope a plan that fits rather than force you into a one-size price.

Do you handle the actual submission to the regulator?

Not by default, in the first version. The EU's own reporting platform currently requires manual entry, with no way to connect systems directly. CRA Alert prepares everything ready to submit. If enough customers want us to handle the final submission for them, we'll offer that as a separate, optional service once we understand the real demand.
